I managed to squeeze in a three-day pit stop on the Gold Coast to catch up with family and enjoy a few luxuries of life before heading back to the US for Michelle’s 60th.

Alice, Alice, Who the F*K is Alice?
As an Australian, Alice Springs had remained one of the cities I was determined to visit. I had passed through the airport on my way to Uluru once, but never found the time for an extended stay.

Canyon Country
My focus for today was to stop by King’s Canyon on my way back to Alice Springs from Yulara. There was a lot of driving but King’s Canyon was awesome. Even the drive itself turned into an adevnture.

Circling the Center
A visit to the red centre and my first ever fisit to Kata Tjuta (The Olgas). I also had the chance to walka. round the outside of Uluru for the first time to see the dramtic changes in shape from various angles.

Before flying down to Alice Springs I had a chance to take a lesiurly stroll alongThe Strqnd in Darwin and then drive down to Humpty Doo for one last beer in an outback pub.

Back to Darwin
After an exhilarating drive through the outback to Daly Waters it was time to head back to Darwin and return my rental car. But not before visiting one last classic outback pub in Humpty Doo.

After an awesome cruise up the Katherine Gorge, today’s drive took in some real classic Australian pubs, including an overnight stay at the iconic Daly Waters Pub.

Sentosa You’ve Changed
For my third day in Singapore I revisited Sentosa Island. A lot had changed in the 26 years since I was last here. The beaches were the same, but pretty much everything else was new and different.
