My second trip to Glasgow (both this month). Today I decided to mix things up by focusing on street art and exploring all the interesting things in the city I found along the way.

Colorful Rekyjavik
Reykjavik is Iceland’s largest city and distinctly different to the other part of Iceland we have visited. It was a very modern city that seemed very progressive.

Isafjordur The Ice Fjord
Today we are back in amongst the fjords as we visit Isfjordur, the capital of the Vestfirðir (Westfjords) region of Iceland.

Akureyri and Goðafoss Waterfalls
A visit to the Capital of the North included a walk around the town followed by a visit to some of Iceland’s best waterfalls.

Seyðisfjörður – Welcome To Iceland
My first visit to Iceland didn’t disappoint. The natural beauty combined with the quaint charm of a small Icelandic village made for a magic day.

Briksdal Glacier
My second visit to Olden allowed me the chance to make my first ever visit to a glacier. It was awesome to walk deeper into the fjords with the towing snow-capped mountains and the roar of water making its way into the fjords.

Scenic Skjolden
Overnight our cruise ship had navigated its way 200km to the end of Norway’s largest fjord to the very pretty village of Skjolden. This place was so good, it was impoassible to take a bad photo.

Haugesund – Back in Norway
The first port on my second cruise to Norway is Haugesand. It feels nice to be back in Norway, especially as the weather has improved significantly in the two weeks I was away.

Medieval Winchester
I had a day between cruises to occupy myself and I had identified Winchester as one of the interesting places I could visit in the short time before I needed to be back on my ship. Enough time to take in some Medieval history (and legends).

Edinburgh In The Rain
My primary focus for today’s visit to Edinburgh was a visit to Edinburgh castle. Tickets were sold out on my visit two week’s ago, so I immediately booked a ticket for today so I would not miss out.
