The View From My Beer
Today I had a 0.5 litre of El Grillo Pils brewed here in Seyðisfjörður at the El Grillo Bar. Not only that, I got to drink it while looking at the Blue Church (Seyðisfjarðarkirkja). This is perhaps the best known photo that is taken in Seyðisfjörður, so ity was awesome to be able to kill two birds wityh the one beer.
Seyðisfjörður

Stop humber 4 on my 14-day cruise to Norway and Iceland. Seyðisfjörður is a small village on the east side of Iceland at the inner most point of the Seyðisfjörður fjord. Like many of the cities I have visited in Norway, the town is dominated by the fjords that tower above the village offering spectacular views.
My Walk
As is often the case, I got lucky again today. The weather was good. It was only about 14C, but that is pretty good around here and the sun did shine for part of the day. I had some idea of the attractions in this part of Iceland and I ended up with a 10km walk that captured almost everything I could have hoped for.
Seyðisfjörður
We had water taxis today, but the ride was only about 10 minutes, and unlike most other water taxi days we could just walk onto one when we were ready to go. There was no need to line up and get a ticket and thenwait for an hour for your number to get called.
